Burquitlam.Media is a local content marketing service for businesses in the Burquitlam–Lougheed corridor. We help trades, shops, clinics and other local owners publish articles, short video, photo stories and Google Business Profile content that reflects their real work in this part of Burnaby and Coquitlam.
Our parent is the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian business with its head office in Vancouver, British Columbia; Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads the studio.
What we are, and what we are not
We are a content and marketing business. We write, film, edit, publish and plan. We advise owners on how to present their business and how to judge whether that presentation brings in work.
We are not a contractor. We do not install, repair, clean or service anything, and we do not take on trade jobs or refer them out for a fee. We are also not a lead reseller: enquiries your content brings belong to you alone. And we are not a newsroom. This site covers the corridor through the eyes of the businesses that serve it, not as a source of local news.
About Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali's marketing career began in 2007 with ONE.ir, a full-service digital agency he founded; that makes 17+ years of practice, backed by an MBA in Technology Management. He now lives and works in Vancouver.
Since then he has founded Conv.ca, a conversion-rate optimisation agency, and MyAutomation.ca, and he is Founder and Managing Partner of SAZ.ca, a Canadian consulting firm for strategy, AI and revenue acceleration. His clients have included businesses in Canada, the USA and Dubai.
Much of his recent work has been in home services. He has built more than 150 live HVAC websites, including content-heavy projects such as HeatLand and BoilerPart.ca. That experience is where our habits come from: publish consistently, measure enquiries rather than vanity numbers, and keep improving what already works.
The group behind us
Sedighi.ca is the consulting company through which Ali runs growth, marketing and technology work. Trades.Agency, the parent for this studio, is one of its brands, alongside HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca. SAZ.ca, the Strategy & Acceleration Zone, handles strategy, AI and revenue work, under strategic leadership from Sedighi.ca.
Burquitlam.Media sits in the trades family. Our plans and pricing follow Trades.Agency, and owners who need more than content, such as a new website or paid campaigns, can be served by the wider group without starting over with a stranger.
How we work
A few principles shape every engagement:
- Your stories, not ours. We do not invent customers, quotes or local facts. Content is built from what you tell us, what you photograph and what official sources confirm.
- One senior point of contact. The person who plans your content is the person you talk to.
- Small, steady output. We would rather publish one strong piece a week for a year than twenty weak ones in a month.
- Plain reporting. Monthly, in normal language: what we published, what people did, what changes next.
- You own it all. Website content, edited video, photos, accounts and logins are yours. If you leave, everything stays with you.
- No lock-in. Plans run month to month with 30 days' notice to cancel.
Why this corridor
The Burquitlam–Lougheed area is changing faster than most of Metro Vancouver. Coquitlam's neighbourhood plan expects thousands of new homes, and Burnaby's Lougheed Town Centre is being rebuilt around its transit hub. Fast change creates a gap: thousands of newcomers looking for help, and many established businesses whose online presence still describes the area as it was ten years ago.
Content is the most direct way to close that gap. It lets a corridor business introduce itself to new neighbours before they ever walk past the door.
Where to go next
See what we offer on the services page, read about each part of the corridor on the areas page, and look at results from our HVAC work for proof of the method. When you want to talk, the contact page explains how to reach Ali directly by call, text or email.
Frequently asked questions
Who owns Burquitlam.Media?
The studio is one brand within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, whose head office is in Vancouver, BC. Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads it, and its trades work sits under the Trades.Agency brand.
Do you have an office in Burquitlam?
No. We work from Vancouver and serve the corridor as a service-area business. We do not list a local street address, and we will not pretend to have one.
Are you a contractor?
No. We plan, write, film, edit and publish marketing content and advise owners. We never install, repair, clean or service anything for anyone.
Why are your case studies about HVAC?
Because the group's portfolio began with heating companies. We present them as results from our HVAC work, showing the publishing method, not as results in your trade.
