Local stories that bring the corridor to you

Services

Four ways to publish your way into the corridor

We offer four content services. Most owners start with one, chosen by asking where customers already look for businesses like theirs and what kind of proof convinces them.

Choosing a content service starts with one question: where do your customers look before they call someone like you? If they search Google Maps, start with your profile. If they read before they buy, start with articles. If they need to see the work, start with video. If you already publish and nothing seems to happen, start with an audit.

Below is how each service works, who it suits and what it costs you in time, not just money. We are a content and marketing business, not a contractor, so every service is about how your work is presented, never about doing the work itself.

Neighbourhood articles and local pages

Articles are the slow, durable option. Each one answers a specific question a corridor resident asks, using your experience: what a townhouse owner near Como Lake Avenue should know before replacing flooring, or how a new tower resident gets a parking-level storage locker cleaned out.

They suit businesses whose jobs need explaining: renovators, electricians, physiotherapists, tutors, accountants for small firms. Your time commitment is roughly 30 to 45 minutes a month for an interview and a review. Read the details on the neighbourhood articles page.

Short video and photo stories

Video suits work that is easier to show than describe: a before-and-after paint job, a plated dish, a dog groom, a tidy panel upgrade. Short clips travel well on Instagram, YouTube Shorts and your Google listing, and they make a website feel inhabited.

The time cost is in capture. Someone has to film 30 to 90 seconds of raw footage on the job, which we then edit. We give you a simple shot list so that becomes a habit rather than a chore. See the short video page.

Google Business Profile content

For many local businesses, the Google listing is the website people actually see. A profile that has fresh photos, recent posts and answered questions looks open and attentive; one that last changed two years ago looks closed.

This is the quickest service to feel. It suits trades and shops that win most work from map searches, and it needs about 15 minutes a week from you to send photos and confirm details. More on the profile content page.

Content audits and editorial plans

An audit is for owners who already have a blog, a social feed or a stack of old pages and want to know which parts help. We read everything, check what actually gets found and clicked, and hand back a plain list: keep, fix, merge, delete. Then we set a twelve-month calendar.

It suits established businesses, franchise locations and anyone who inherited a website from a previous agency. Details on the audit page.

A quick way to decide

If this sounds like you Start here
"Most of my calls say they found me on the map." Profile content
"People ask me the same five questions every week." Articles
"My work looks impressive but my website doesn't show it." Video and photos
"We post a lot and nothing happens." Audit

If two rows fit, pick the one you can keep up for six months. Consistency matters more than format.

What every service shares

Whatever you choose, a few rules hold:

  1. Nothing goes live without your approval. You know your business; we know how to present it.
  2. You own everything. Text, edited video, photos and accounts stay yours if we part ways.
  3. We measure the outcome, not the output. Calls, texts, direction requests and enquiries matter more than likes.
  4. We stay honest about fit. If content is the wrong tool for a service you offer, we will say so and suggest what would work instead.

Prices for each plan are on the pricing page, and examples of the publishing discipline behind this work appear on our results page. For the geography we cover, see areas.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need all four services?

No. Most clients start with one or two. A trade that gets most calls from Google Maps usually starts with profile content; a business with complex jobs usually starts with articles.

Can I combine services in one plan?

Yes. Every plan is a mix chosen around your goals, and we can shift the balance month to month as we learn what your customers respond to.

Who writes and films the content?

We plan, write and edit. For video and photos, you or your staff often capture raw footage on the job, because that is where the real moments happen, and we turn it into finished pieces.

Do you also run ads and build websites?

This site focuses on content. Full websites and paid campaigns for the corridor are handled through Trades.Agency plans and our sister agency site.
